The Philadelphia Parade will be kicking off
at 12:00pm Sunday, March 13th. Set your
TV’s to record the parade on CBS from 12:00-
3:30pm. Each dance school will perform a
routine at the reviewing stand at the end of
the parade. All McDade Dancers are welcome
to participate.
If the parade is cancelled due to the weather,
an e-mail will be sent to all families and amessage
will be left on our voice mail box at 610-
449-8716. There is no rain date for the
Philadelphia Parade.
A Parade Participation form will be included in
our next Newsletter.
Philadelphia Parade Mandatory Practice
There will be a mandatory parade practice for Pre-Beginners thru Prizewinner Dancers (including Young Champs)
on Saturday, March 5th from
9am-12pm at the
McDade Studio.
Bus Transportation
Buses will be provided to and from the
Philadelphia Parade. As soon as the parade
line up is available, we will know what time
we need to leave for the parade. A note will
be posted at class and this information will
be listed in March's Newsletter. The buses
will leave from the McDade Studio and
return back to the Studio at the end of the
parade.
The cost is $10 per person. A Transportation
form will be included in our next Newsletter.
If you are not taking the bus, the meeting
time and location will be posted at class and
e-mailed to all as soon as the line of march
becomes available.
2011 Springfield St. Patrick's Day Parade
The Springfield Parade will be held on Saturday, March 12th. All
McDade Dancers, parents and family members are welcome to
walk with the school. The start time for the Springfield Parade is
12:00pm.
The parade route will be the same as last years, starting on
Springfield Road and ending at Old Central School on Saxer
Avenue, where the reviewing stand will be located. On the day of the parade we will meet
in front of Springfield High School at 11:45 am. Look for a green pick-up truck and the
McDade Banner.
There are no practices for the Springfield Parade.

2010 Parade
Congratulations to all dancers on a very successful 2010 Philadelphia Parade! It sure was a wet one!
There were 217 groups marching in this years parade and we had McDade dancers in three winning routines!
